Over the last few months, Mark and I have hit the road between Houma, La and Pawley’s Island, SC, stopping over in Lake Village, Ark on our way home to Austin. Call it the Love Triangle. We’ve measured the distance at 2500 miles, but there’s no measuring what it’s meant to us to spend time with our families. The road trip to Lake Village with Elizabeth was a special add-on to my last visit to Houma. The photos here give glimpses of our routine walk along the water in Lake Village -- starting at the Arkansas welcome center and continuing on to the questionable Confederate memorial and Matthew’s little house. And I close with a sibling photo taken in Houma - especially for you, Mom. Dawn Various Artists Leave a comment
