Mardi Gras 2023

This was the year that Jack and his cousins experienced their first Mardi Gras. Amy hosted us all in Houma, and welcomed the adults with her great Cajun cooking, and the kids with festive hoola hoops and second-line umbrellas. Claude and Hayes and Claude Jr. would ride on Fat Tuesday, but we were in town for the gentler women’s Krewe. It was a beautiful weekend, and when the parade rolled on Sunday, our kiddos were ready to catch beads and trinkets from the Krewe in costume on colorful floats. Benji, your time is coming!
