Wine Tasting in Texas

Boudreaux's at Pedernalis.jpg

To celebrate Bonnie’s 50th and Amy’s 40th birthdays in 2012, we took to the Texas wine trail on a sunny New Year’s Eve. Mark drove our passenger van through the Hill Country to Pedernales Cellars where we tasted our first wines, then on to Becker Vineyards for more tastings and a tour. There Mom found her favorite wine, the Muscato that Dad purchased for home. We ended the day at Grape Creek Vineyards where we tasted our last wines and relaxed on the patio as the sun went down. We all agreed it was a day to do again, next time with the whole Boudreaux bunch. And we hope to repeat many more holidays together in Houston and Austin...
