For Mark’s birthday this year, we decided to stay close to home and hit the Texas wine trail. We had heard that these Texas wineries were second in the nation in popularity, next to Napa Valley, and our day of wine-tasting turned out to be even more fun than we expected. Pedernales Cellars, Becker Vineyards and Grape Creek were our choices. We learned a lot about wines - and the personalities of our entertaining wine-tasters -- and enjoyed the tour at our last stop at Grape Creek Vineyards. To wrap up the day, we visited nearby Fredericksburg and the Pacific War Museum where we never seem to allow enough time for the excellent exhibits. Leave a comment
