Mark and I enjoyed another ACL in September with the music of My Morning Jacket, TV on the Radio and Allison Kraus. As always, we took note of a few bands we had not heard before, like the Antlers (me) and the Belle Brigade (Mark). News coverage pointed out that you could tell who were the Austinites in the crowd: they were the ones smiling as the rain poured down. The much-needed rain just cooled things down for everyone and didn’t at all dampen the high spirits of the crowd. It was fun to get dinner at Chuy’s in between favorite bands and then to walk alongside all the pedicabs when the concert was done.
