The wedding events for Elizabeth rolled on with her September 19 shower at Helen and Craig’s in Houston. It was a lovely night, and we gladly took the chance to get to know Andrew’s family a little better. Then the Boudreaux women and my two friends, Nancy and Lynn, threw a beautiful wedding shower at The Tasting Room on October 10. Good food and wine, and hilarious games that showed off Alden’s offbeat humor, and my total lack of knowledge of my daughter’s tastes -- what? Frosted Flakes? -- made for a very special time together. What a lot of love and creativity! Sistas and Jennifer and Molly, you are the best!
